Happy Birthday Lois aka Grandma!

It was great having Bob and Lois/Dad and Mom/Grandpa and Grandma, come visit us last weekend!  They stayed with the kids while Vaughn and I went to Oregon Annual Conference of the Free Methodist Church up in Newberg.  When we got back, it was a short and sweet birthday celebration.  Thanks for coming - we love you!

Congratulations Mady!

Our oldest niece, Madalyn, graduated a couple weeks ago from King's High School.  We are so proud of her!  Next is Washington State University!
Even though we didn't get to attend graduation, we watched Mady get her diploma online.

For All of Her Hard Work This Year!

We are so proud of Faith!  Today at her school, she was awarded several honors for her hard work this year.

The above was for Faith being one of the top math students in her school.

Second semester Faith was in the Leadership Class.

This award is for keeping all A's all year!

She's done a lot of reading!

Tonight at dinner she told us her plan is to be the valedictorian when she graduates from high schoolShe has a great start!

Checking In...for May

Calapooia FMC has a tradition that on Mother's Day you wear red flowers if your mom's still alive and white if she's passed on.  Vaughn got me a beautiful corsage of red roses to wear.  Here I'm with my loves who make this day special.

Having a little campfire to be able to make smores.

This was my Memorial Day Weekend project - curtains for looks and more privacy.

I sew about once every ten years.  Since this project went well, I may change the decade rule.
