Blue and Gold Banquet
Last night was the Blue and Gold Boy Scout Banquet. This is a time when awards are given but more importantly a time to transition cub scouts to boy scouts. This happened with two boys in the pack. It was an enjoyable time, and Griffin was captivated by the ceremony and listening to the older boys share their experiences and what they've learned. Griffin earned a few awards for participating in the food drive, the Veterans Day Parade and bowling with the troop.

"How to Be a Pirate in Seven Easy Songs"
Last night was Griffin's mini-musical at East Primary School. With the pirate theme, the kids were encouraged to dress like pirates. Since we don't have pirate attire at home, Griffin and many other kids fashioned paper hats. He was given an eye patch by his music teacher. It was very cute, with some speaking parts and the rest of the third grade students and two classes of second graders making up the choir. It was only about 45 minutes long and was held in the high school gym. This was a good idea because it was packed!

Faith's Making Good Progress!
Faith's basketball team is currently 4 wins and 1 loss, and with each game Faith's confidence and skills increase. Yesterday her buddies, Cassidy and Sara came to her game (along with Cassidy's mom and sister). That inspired Faith too! I am so thankful for these two girls - they have become such great friends to Faith.
